creativity

These are some things I'm learning about being creative....
Being creative isn't about trying to be someone you're not, but about God awakening you to who you are as a co-creator with Him. It's about deepening our relationship with Holy Spirit, and knowing who we are in God, as His kids. Passion awakens creativity...whatever your passion is, it is given to you by your Papa God! Be true to who He created you to be. He has given us gifts and passions....now is the time to be vulnerable with those gifts and share what we've got on the inside with the world. What we have is the creative power and love of Jesus inside of us....we are change agents in this world!
I just watched the movie, Tinkerbell. It's a story about how a fairy comes to realize how valuable she and the gift she's been given. At first she tried to hide her gift and got all the other fairies to teach her their gifts. She wanted to be one of them. But she couldn't master any of their gifts. In the end she realized that her gift was very valuable. She discovered she had a great gift that could change her world. It's so true about all of us! In spending time with Papa, He will ignite a passion in you, uncover your gifts, and what is inside you will come out....and you just get to be yourself!

freedom

Have you heard the analogy of the donkey that stumbled and fell into a pit? His owner comes along to the rescue, but the task is impossible. To put it out of its misery, the farmer called upon his friends to help him bury it alive. However, every time they heaped another shovel of dirt on this little donkey, he'd just shake it off, and step up on the fallen pile of dirt. Shake it off, step up, shake it off, step up. Finally he walked out of his imprisonment on level ground. As time passed, the very thing that should have buried the donkey became his way to freedom.

I just thought this was a good word to stay encouraged and hopeful!
